ANGOLAN SKATING FEDERATION
1. GENERALITY
1.1 Subject of specifications
The Terms of Reference are the basis of the rules and guidelines for organizing and participating in the International Marathon - Angola 50 Years. They define the responsibilities of the organizer and participants.
2. THE ORGANIZATION
2.1 The International Marathon - Angola 50 Years will be a Speed Skating event (Inline Speed) organized and held by the FederaçãoAngolana de Patinagem - FAP with the support of the Government of Angola, through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as part of the celebrations of the 50 Years of Independence of Angola, which is intended to be held annually and valid for the African ranking.
2.2 The International Marathon - Angola 50 Years will be held along the Marginal and Nova Marginal of Luanda, in a closed circuit, at 6 pm, on October 18, 2025.
2.3 The FAP will invite the 5 (five) best skaters in the African ranking.
3. PARTICIPATION
3.1 Professional and amateur athletes, over 18 years of age, of both sexes, regularly registered in accordance with the official regulations may participate in the event.
3.2 The athlete's participation in the event is strictly individual and assistance from third parties is prohibited.
3.3 Athletes must be present for the start at a location, date, and time pre-established by the organizers. Failure to appear at this time will constitute abandonment of the race.
3.4 Athletes without a T-shirt and mandatory safety equipment are prohibited from participating.
4. REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION FEES
Registrations will be limited to 200 (two hundred) athletes, must be made online through the FAP website: http://fapatinagem.co.ao/ or through the platform of the company producing the event and registrations will be made until September 30, 2025 or until they reach the technical limit of the event and the Participation Fee has a cost of USD 50.00 (Fifty American Dollars).
5. CATEGORIES
5.1 The categories will be divided into male and female as follows:
Marathon Distance: 42.195 km
§ Age 18 to 70 years
5.2 The athlete's placement in the respective category will be determined according to their age on the date of the race.

7. OF THE EVIDENCE
The tests are separated by sex and category, but regardless of the number of participants, categories will be combined.

7.2 The first 3 (three) places in each category will be awarded with cash and trophies.
7.3 The prize money will be paid by bank transfer after the Local Organizing Committee receives the results of the Anti-Doping Control.
7.4 All participants who complete the race will receive a participation medal.
7.5 Athletes who are entitled to an award must appear in the stage area as soon as the award ceremony is announced.
8. OF CONDUCT
8.1 The event organizers have complete freedom to analyze the conduct of participating athletes, as well as to consider it legal or illegal and to issue the corresponding sanctions.
8.2 Every athlete must act within the principles of sportsmanship , maintaining discipline, complying with established schedules and respecting teammates.
8.3 It is prohibited to prevent overtaking under any circumstances.
8.4 Any athlete who fails to comply with the respective regulations will be punished with disqualification from the event.

10. SECURITY
10.1 The athlete's participation is of his own free will and is aware of the Official Regulations, with which the athlete agrees, and is also aware that competing in long-distance races is a high-intensity and high-risk physical activity .
10.2 The athlete must not participate in the event if he/she is not in adequate clinical condition and properly trained.
10.3 We recommend that you undergo a rigorous and complete medical evaluation prior to participating in the event.
10.4 The organization will provide event athletes with mobile ICU ambulances to provide first aid in the event of an accident. If necessary, emergency medical care will be provided through the public health system.
10.5 The organizing committee may, following medical recommendations, determine that the athlete interrupts or does not participate in the race.
10.6 The athlete or their responsible companion may opt for another service system, exempting the organization from any responsibility, from removal/transfer to their care.
10.7 Upon registration , each participant will be aware of the event's Terms of Responsibility, which will be validated by agreeing to the Official Regulations.
11. GENERAL PROVISIONS
11.1 The organization is not responsible for the safekeeping of any objects left in the event's cloakroom. This service is provided as a courtesy to participants.
11.2 The event organization, as well as its Sponsors, are not responsible for losses or damages caused by Athletes registered in the PROOF to third parties or other participants, their actions being the sole and exclusive responsibility of the same .
11.3 The official results of the test will be made available through the Public Media Organizations and the organization's digital platforms.
11.4 The organization and management of the event will be responsible for appointing their assistants and identifying them as coordinators and staff, to whom control and inspection powers will be delegated.
12. ADDENDUM
12.1 The organizers may, at their discretion or according to the needs of the event, add or modify these regulations, in whole or in part. In this case, they will communicate the changes through official channels.
12.2 Any doubts or omissions in these regulations will be analyzed and judged by the organizing committee in a sovereign manner, and these decisions will not be subject to appeal.
13. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
13.1 By participating in the event, all participants assume responsibility for the data they provide and fully accept the Official Race Regulations, being aware of their physical and mental health status, assuming the risks of the RACE, transportation, accommodation, food and insurance expenses or any other expenses necessary or arising from their participation in the race, before, during and after.
13.2 They are aware that participating in skating events can cause accidents involving dislocations, fractures , health damage, and death. Nevertheless, they assume full responsibility for their participation.
14. MANDATORY RULES

15. TEST DISTANCES
Adjustments to the course may be made up until the date of the event to improve technical aspects and meet the needs of the city and relevant government agencies. The race distance is 42.195 km on a closed circuit, with a perimeter of over 3,000 meters.
16. PASSPORT CONTROL AND PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES
Passport checks and payment of registration and participation fees will take place upon arrival of each delegation.
17. TECHNICAL TRAINING
In preparation for the International Marathon - Angola 50 Years , training sessions will be organized for judges and coaches. The Angolan Skating Federation will provide all necessary materials (video projector, laptop, training rooms, etc.) for a successful training session. Details will be communicated later.
18. ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation costs are the responsibility of each delegation. Hotel prices will be announced in future newsletters.
19. Local catering and transportation
The Local Organizing Committee will cover the costs of food and local transportation for all delegations.
